Asturias is an autonomous community in northern Spain on the coast of the Cantabrian Sea. The region is located between the Picos de Europa mountains to the south and the Cantabrian Sea to the north. Asturias is famed for its cuisine, including beef with zucchini and turkey, the renowned fabada asturianaβbeans in tomato sauce with olivesβand sidra, the traditional local cider.
